ItineraryDay 01 : Arrive Delhi
On arrival at Delhi Airport /Railway Station. Assistance and transfer to Hotel followed by full day sightseeing tour of Delhi visiting Laxmi Narayan Temple, Raj Ghat ( where Father of Nation Mahatma Gandhi was criminated ), Red Fort, Qutub Minar and drive past India Gate & sectariate buildings Parliament street .Overnight stay at Hotel in Delhi.
Day 02 : Delhi - Rishikesh ( 234 Kms / 5 Hrs )
In the morning depart for Rishikesh, enroute stopping at Har ki Pauri in Haridwar. On arrival in Rishikesh and check into Hotel. Evening visit the River Ganges Ghat to participate in the Ganga Aarti. Overnight stay at the Hotel or Tourist Guest House or Tourist Rest House.
Day 03 : Rishikesh - Jankichatti
In the morning depart for Yamnotri, Enroute halt for lunch at local restaurant.On arrival at Janakichatti check into hotel or Camp. Overnight saty at Janakichatti.
Day 04 : Jankichatti – Yamnotri - Jankichatti ( 06 + 06 kms trek)
Morning start your trek to Yamnotri, the origin of river Yamuna. The entire trek is gradual ascent till we reach Yamnotri. Arrive at main market and visit temple for Darshan & perform Puja. Spend your little time at the area and trek down . Arrive Janakichatti and transfer to hotel for overnight stay.
YAMUNOTRI TEMPLE : Situated at a elevation of 3235 meters above sea-level, the shrines of Yamunotri is one of the tour Char Dhams of Garhwal. The source of Yamuna lies about 11 km ahead at an attitude of about 4421 meters. The approach is extremely difficult and pilgrims therefore offer pooja at the temple itself. Hanumanchatti or 5 km from Jankichatti. Darshan pooja trek back or come down to Jankichatti 6 km below the temple.
Day 05 : Jankichatti - Uttarakashi ( 7 HRS )
Morning after breakfast drive to Uttarkashi. Arrive Uttarkashi and transfer to hotel. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel.
Day 6 : Uttarakashi – Gangotri – Uttarakashi - Drive 5 hrs.
Morning after breakfast drive to Gangotri. Arrive Gangotri Darshan, Puja at temple. Drive back to Uttarkashi ,overnight stay at Hotel in Uttarakashi.
GANGOTRI TEMPLE - As legend goes Raja Bhagirath used to worship lord shiva at the sacred stone near which the temple is located. It is believed that goddess, Ganga first descended to earth from heaven at this stone. Amar Singh Thapa, the Gorkha commander of Garhwal, in the 18th century A.D. constructed this temple. It is also believed that the Pandavas come here to perform the great Geva Yagna to atone the death of their kinsmen in the battle of MAHABHARATA. Overnight stay at Gangotri.
Day 07 : Uttarakashi - Rudraprayag- Drive: 178 Kms / 6 Hrs.
Morning after breakfast drive to Rudraprayag. Arrive Uttarkashi and check into hotel. Overnight stay at Rudraprayag.
Day 08 : Rudraprayag - Gaurikund : Drive 95 Kms/ 3 Hrs. Trek Start from Gaurikund-Kedarnath (Pony 5-6 Hrs.)
Morning after breakfast leave for Gaurikund. On arrival at Gaurikund start your trek or pony to Kedarnath Temple. Arrive and check into Hotel Evening visit the temple for Darshan. Overnight stay at hotel.
KEDARNATH TEMPLE : An imposing sight standing in the middle of a wide plateau surrounded by snow capped peaks. The present temple built in 18th century A.D. by Adi Shankaracharya Guru, stands adjacent to the site of earlier temple built by the Pandavas. The inner walls of the assembly hall are decorated with figures of various deities and scenes from mythology. Outside the temple as a welcome door a large statue of the Nandi bull stands as guard.
Its dedicated to Lord Shiva, the exquisitely architectured, Kedarnath temple is considered to be more than 1000 years old. Built of extremely large heavy and evenly cut grey slavs of stones. It evokes wonder as to how these heavy slavs had been handled in the earlier days. The temple has a "Garbha Griha" for worship and mandap appt. for assemblies of pilgrims and visitors. A concial rock formation inside the temple is worshipped as Lord Shiva in his Sadashiva form. Rest at bunglow visit to Kedarnath ji temple for Aarti, Darshan. Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 09 : Kedarnath - Gaurikund ( 4-5 hrsTrek) - Rudraprayag. (Drive 3Hrs)
Morning visit at Temple and start your Trek down to Gaurikund. After lunch break and refreshing bath at Gaurikund, origin of Hot Springs further we drive to Rudra Prayag. Arrive Rudraprayag and check into hotel. Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 10 : Rudraprayag - Badrinath .(Drive 7- 8 Hrs)
Morning drive to Badrinath. The entire drive up to Joshimath is along the Alaknanda river. Photo stop at Joshimath for some time. Later we drive to Badrinath. Arrive Badrinath and check into hotel. Evening visit the Badrinath temple. Overnight stay at hotel.
BADRINATH TEMPLE : Badrinath is one of the four Dham of Hinduism and situated at an elevation of 3132 mts. Above sea level, guarded on either side by the two mountain ranges known as “Nar” and “Narayan” , with the towering “NEEL KANTH PEAK” providing a splendid back-drop. This revered spot was once carpeted with wild barries which gage it the name "Badri Van" meaning forest of berries.
BADRINATH TEMPLE is dedicated to lord "Vishnu”, the temple of Shri Badrinathji is 15 mts. In height built in the form of a cone with a small cupola of a flit bull and spire. Legend dates the temple prior to the Vedic age.
Day 11 : Badrinath - Sringar. (197 Kms / 8 Hrs)
Morning after breakfast, check out of the hotel and leave for Srinagar (Garhwal). Arrive Srinagar & check in to at Hotel. Evening free to explore the local market. Overnight stay at Hotel in Srinagar.
Day 12 : Srinagar - Mussourie (175 Kms / 8 Hrs)
Morning on time to leave for Mussoorie. On arrival check in at Hotel. Evening free to stroll on the bustling Mall Road.
Day 13 :Mussoorie :
Breakfast at hotel, full day is at leisure to explore the town and its surroundings. Overnight stay at the Hotel in Mussoourie.
Day 14 : Mussoorie - Shimla ( 274 Kms/10-11 Hrs )
Morning leave for Shimla enroute visiting Ponta Sahib. On arrival check in at Hotel.Overnight stay at Shimla, One of the most popular hill Resorts of the North India. The town is situated at an altitude of 6810 ft, initially chosen as a sanatorium for invalid European officers, but soon developed into a big hill town and became the summer capital of the country. It is surrounded by green mountain and deodar trees.
Day 15 : Shimla
Breakfast at hotel later in the morning tour of Shimla visiting - Kalbadevi Temple, Jakhu Temple, Hanuman Temple or stop for a while at the beautiful stained glass - windows of Christ Church which was built in the 1850 ‘s . Afternoon excursion to Kufri a 35-40 Minutes drive from Shimla, exotica of nature as a place surrounded by dense forest and snow capped mountains amidst virgin peaks and nature’s flora and fauna where one can completely relax and tune oneself for natural beauty. In the afternoon return back to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 16 : Shimla - Manali (280 KMS / 10 HRS)
Morning leave for the best of the Himalayan hill resort of Manali. Reach Manali and check in at Hotel. Evening free to relax & unwind. Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 17 : Manali
Brekast at hotel followed by city tour visiting newly constructed Buddhist Monastery. Hadimba Devi temple-It is small temple situated in the dense forest is very interesting. Hadimba is said to be the wife of Bhima from the epic of Mahabharata. On the way up to the village you come upon the Vashist hot baths where a natural sulphar spring is piped into a modern bath -house. Overnight stay at Hotel in Manali.
Day 18 : Manali – Rohtang Pass/Solang valley-Manali
Full day excursion visiting Kothi Gorge, Gulaba, Marhi, Rohtang Pass-(most memorable tourist spot in Manali ) is the most visited tourist cum picnic spot in Himalaya having snow round the year (Upto Snow Line in case Rohtang is closed due to snow fall) and Sollang Valley ,which offers fine views of glaciers and snow, capped peaks. in the evening return to hotel. The Magnificent views and natural beauty are a never-ending source of delight. Also halt at Marhi, Ralha falls, Nehru Kund. Return to the hotel for Overnight stay.
Day 19 : Manali - Palampur (201 kms / 8 hrs)
Morning check out from the Hotel and drive to Palampur enroute stopping at Kullu and visit to local Shawl / handloom Factory. On arrival at Palampur check in at Hotel .Overnight stay at hotel in Palampur.
Day 20 : Palampur
In the morning visit a tea plantation and tea factory. Also visit Shoba Singh’s Art Gallery at Andretta, the ancient rock cut Masroor temples and the historic Kangra fort. Optionally, you may take a full day tour of Kangra Devi, Chintpurni and Jwala Ji ( cost an additional). Overnight at the hotel in Palampur.
Day 21 : Palampur - Dharampur (58 Kms / 2 HRS)
In the morning drive to Dharamshala where low rolling hills criss crossed by narrow fast- flowing streams, scores of tiny hamlets , lush tea gardens and paddy fields with the backdrop of the Majestic Dhauladhar Mountains. Enroute visit Chamunda Devi Temples. After settling into the resort, explore the town, replete with Tibetan culture and the residence of His Holiness, The Dalai Lama. Day 22 : Dharmshala (Mc Leodganj )
Imbibe the magic of the ‘White Ranges’ and of history and nature as much as you can while visiting the Tibetan Monastery, St. John’s church in the wilderness, Trichund Peak, Odichi huts, Dal lake, Naddi. Shop in the bazaar for Tibetan handicrafts in the evening. Overnight stay at hotel in Dharamshala.
Day 23 : Dharamshala - Dalhousie (124 Kms / 4 HRS )
On time in the morning leave for the Dalhousie - it’s one of the most scenic saucer shaped Plateau and is surrounded by dense pine and deodar green forests, its beauty has further been enhanced by a small lake in the center with a floating island and 9-hole golf course. Day 24 : Dalhousie-Khajjiar–Dalhousie ( 18 kms / 01hrs).
Today embark on an excursion to Khajjiar (18 kms) often called 'India's Switzerland'. Along its exquisite glade is a small lake fed by streams that traverse the green carpet. Enjoy the panoramic view and drive back to Dalhousie. Overnight stay at hotel in Dalhousie.
Day 25 : Dalhousie - Amritsar
In time in the morning leave for Amritsar. Arrive Amritsar and check in at Hotel. Evening is at leisure. Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 26 : Amritsar – Delhi
Breakfast at hotel , named Amritsar after the pool of nectar or the sacred pool within the Golden Temple complex, the city is lively and chaotic, bursting with bazaars like any other North Indian metro. A whistle-stop tour of Amritsar, like Queen Elizabeth II’s progress through the town, need only include visits to the two major landmarks of the city - the Golden Temple, of course and the Jalianwala Bagh. Evening check out of Hotel and transfer to Railway station to board train for Delhi. Late night arrive Delhi and transfer to Hotel, overnight stay at hotel.
Day 27 : Lv.Delhi –Departure
